Backflows are possible and serious plumbing hazards that can have lethal outcomes to the public if commercial buildings do not fit proper backflow prevention devices. Potable water is usually distributed in one direction from the Municipal water towers to consumers. Yet when water pressure is temporarily lost, a backflow condition can occur that reverses the direction of water to flow from consumer to supplier. A backflow can be harmful, if not deadly, when contaminates are back siphoned into the fresh water supply via a cross connection with a non potable source. In the worst backflow incident recorded, over 1500 persons became ill and 98 people died. Commercial plumbing companies fit backflow preventors on cross connection points to eliminate the very possibility of the backflow threat altogether. Visit Commercial Plumber Birmingham
Usually municipal water is supplied at high pressure to homes and commercial buildings. The turning of taps in homes and offices relieves the water pressure and establishes the one way flow of fresh water. Fire fighting operations or water main breaks can lower water supply pressure below that of the non potable system, and cause back-siphonage of pollutants or contaminates into the potable water system.
The law requires commercial facilities with alternate water sources, fire sprinkles, lab equipment, and boilers to fit backflow prevention devices in the points of cross connection. Property owners who fail to install backflow assemblies where needed are liable for backflow incidents on site. For this reason commercial plumbers install and service backflow preventors on an annually basis to protect the public’s potable water supply. Commercial plumbing service providers protect the public from the grave implications of having non potable substances reach the potable water supply.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
